(( I will answer, ‘cause I don’t think the manager played haha :P I think my grand-ma bought the game first, for when I would go to her house.
Basically, I love everything about the game! But the main thing is Mario gets away on vacation, to a beautiful island. The colors are vibrant and it’s a completely new world. At the time I started playing Super Mario Sunshine, I couldn’t go on trips. So, to see all this, it made me really happy. The place I like the most is.. hmm… Probably Sirena Beach… Or maybe Bianco Hills, Pinna Park, Gelato Beach and/or Delfino Plaza! Also FLUDD is cool! And Bowser Junior is super cute haha!! Thank you for the question, I really wasn’t expecting it and now I’m happy!

Hello dear visitors! I, Isle Delfino Resort’s Manager, have news for you today.
I have done research for the rumors about a Super Mario Sunshine 2.
After research I can say that it’s probably not going to happen. The sequel Super Mario Sunshine was Super Mario Galaxy (1 and 2). So it is unlikely to happen, unfortunately.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. I do not know if they are going to remake it on the 3DS but is somebody has information on it please message me
